Hello everyone
I will preface this with a question. Do you support an androgynous gaming unity? Where wars dont exist? Where all 3 consoles blend and share games? Or do you love the competiton? Both options come with pros and cons.

This is essentially if Japan joined the allied forces during WW2. This is the breaking of the Berlin wall in gaming form. This is sacrates philosophies. Especially because Nintendo cant run it and wont run it.
Forza Horizon 5 is officially coming to PS5 soon. And dont mind me if im late. But I switched teams years ago as a life long xbox fan. I might not be up on news. I was a product of my friend group and my gf is the reason I gave PS4/PS5 architecture a chance and have never looked back.
However I do miss the Forza Horizon games. Gran Turismo doesnt make an equivelant and they are a wild blast. And this is big news for me.
XBOX WAVING THE WHITE FLAG ON COMPETITION?I think xbox gave up. I do believe by next console generation that Xbox will not be making a physical console. I think they will be packaging either a roku style device with game pass built on it. Which they already do. Or just flat out become a game publisher and not a console maker.
My evidence for this. Is Minecraft. They purchased Minecraft rights. When they did this. If they had any desire to fight back. They would have made Minecraft a console exclusive. Imagine having Minecraft? The best selling game of all time. Locked from millions of kids unless their mom buys a fairly affordable Xbox series S? Massive battle move. But it was never made.
I feel this is a big sign and im really excited for it. What else can we expect?
1. Halo on all platforms
2. Microsoft flight simulator on PS5
3. Rareware games and Sunset overdrive on PS5
4. Ori and the blind forest on Switch
I don't think Xboxs current sales warrant a new wave of units. I have heard Xbox makes some 80 percent of profits off game pass and software. I think they are ready to fly the coop and share their beauty with the world. Rivals become friends. Kinda a dream to me.
What'aya say folks? Do you think were on the verge of a merger? And does said merger excite you?
