In the latter half of the 20th century, the world's attention was drawn to America's Midwest when an industrial town, Raccoon City, was the center of a series of exceedingly unusual events. Bizarre murders, the loss of the S.T.A.R.S. One of America's top companies, the Umbrella Corporation, was blamed for the events and nobody believed the stories of biological weapons, secret research facilities, and, most disturbingly, the T-virus that transformed humans and animals into appalling monsters.
